ciemiku: The answer is to do exactly what the message says, or wait. The firmware has been updated and the driver in calibre checks the version number. While there are no changes in the firmware that affect the interaction with calibre, and there have not been for a while, the check is for safety. The change to bump the supported firmware version has been checked in and will be in the next calibre release. Until then, you can safely follow the instructions in the message.

For future reference, whenever there is a new firmware release, a thread is created in the Kobo forum here to discuss the release. An early post will include anything known about the firmware and I will post a statement about the calibre status. If there is going to be a problem with calibre, it will be announced there.
