"Saki" (Hector Hugh Munro, 1870-1916) was a journalist and foreign correspondent, author of non-fiction books and, most famously, his acerbic, satiric and sometimes macabre short stories under the name "Saki".
This short novel set in an upper-class British Bassington household tells of the troubles endured by the family as a result of the behaviour of the title character.
