"Easy" and "flawlessly" are good words. Of course, the jailbreak *procedure* is meant to be as simple and intuitive as it can be, because it should be usable by everyone.

But the effort to get there was anything but easy or flawless. There is a reason why it took almost a month to come up with that method. I'm not going to disclose the details publicly, but rest assured that the Paperwhite is extremely difficult to crack, and that I was about to give up more than once.

Just because the jailbreak method is easy to understand doesn't mean that it was easy to find. In fact, finding this jailbreak method was the most difficult venture I ever tackled.
