These are basically the causes of battery drain:
* skipping OOBE (not registering the device)
* a faulty or aged battery
* faulty battery calibration (may reset itself after a few cycles)
If you didn't skip OOBE, give it a few charge cycles and, if they battery life does not improve, then you have most likely a faulty or aged battery.
