I hate to have to ask, but are you sure you followed all of the steps correctly(
this (broken) is the guide you should use)? Also, are you using the same google account that you backed up as the one you used when you restored? And sorry about the whole gapps thing, sometimes we say things without realizing others don't know what it refers to lol.
