Hi All,

Great Forum!

My wife has an ECO Reader. It's worked flawlessly for ages.

1) But when she tried to turn it on tonight (from batteries not plugged into power) all that happened was activation of the red flashing light at the top right hand corner and four quick beeps.

2) I tried plugging it into power, and had the same problem.

3) I then pressed the reset button at the back of the unit but problem 1) and 2) continued.

My first thoughts is that the battery is flat and our new kitten has rendered the 240V (through transformer) cable inoperative.

I've looked at the manual, but that just says to press the reset (refer to unsuccesful attempt (point 3)).

Any ideas or where I can go for help?
