I'll third lottery version 2 and third Japanese authors.

I'll also nominate Nyssa's Choice as a category. Nyssa would select a list of books to vote on and the one with the most votes is the category selection. In the unlikely event of a tie, Nyssa gets to banish the other selections for their choice.
