hi stinger, looks like jellby found a good solution that i didn't know about. the way i do that is first click on the number of the post in the top right corner of the post (for instance, your post above this one is #5), which will open a new tab called "view single post", with just that post.

in the top right corner there, where i clicked on the post number, there is now a title : "Thread: Linking to a specific post within a thread. View Single Post" and you'll notice the name of the thread is a link. clicking on that link brings you back to the full thread with focus on the specific post. just copy the url from that page :

and it should jump to the post you're trying to reference.
