England, George Allan: The Air Trust. 07 Aug 2008

This one is hard to pin down to just one prefix so I have selected Science Fiction since that is where most of George Allan England's books fall. He was a leading SciFi writer in the early part of the 20th century in the US.

The Air Trust, written in 1915, deals with the possible future where there is one monopoly controlling all flights.

Of interest is the dedication of the book:
Quote:
TO EUGENE V. DEBS
"Comrade 'Gene,"
Lover of All Mankind and
Apostle of the World's Emancipation,
