A young American gets lost in a London fog. A beautiful woman appears out of the mist and hands him a small packet. He attempts to restore it, gets coshed and wakes up with a corpse beside him. Scotland Yard investigates and uncovers a tale of greed and organised crime.
About the author:
After a successful career as a Metropolitan police officer in London (he was the man who though of using wireless to achieve Dr Crippen’s arrest) Frank Froest wrote detective stories in his retirement in Weston-super-Mare.
