Yes. You just exposed the crux of what was bothering me. It's not about the Author - but the Bookstore. Ebooks are kind of a slap to independent bookstores as they have no way to make money. Walking in with a Nook or Kindle is like buying food from one restaurant, but bringing it to another to sit and eat.

I'll leave the Kindle at home and buy the tree-book to support the store.
