Free book (nook/Kindle/Sony) - The End is Now [Christian Apocalyptic Comedy]

The End is Now, by Rob Stennett, who is supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek comedy writer, is a post-apocalyptic fiction novel described as "satirical", free courtesy of Christian publisher Zondervan.

Free currently @ B&N. Since it's Zondervan, there's a good chance that Amazon and Sony, and possibly Kobo will wind up with it too, since they're pretty generous about having their freebies in many of the stores.

Synopsis
Two weeks from tomorrow, at precisely 6:11 in the morning, the rapture or apocalypse or Armageddon or whatever else it is you'd prefer to call it, is going to occur. But only in Goodland, Kansas. The Hendersons are caught in the middle as the town---and the family---divides between belief and unbelief in this satirical and illuminating apocalyptic novel.

For more free B&N books (which they often don't bother to put on their official free books page), please see the excellent Free NOOKbooks Summary Thread at the B&N discussion boards, which is pruned and updated every few days.
