Mac Snow Leopard/Sigil crash

Hello. If there's a post on this I haven't found it. I hope I'm not repeating an earlier discussion. If so please point me to it.

I just installed Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.4. Up until now Sigil has worked like a champ to tailor ePubs for publication or migrating over to Calibre to convert to the Kindle/Mobi format.

But ever since installing Snow Leopard it quits repeatedly. Although not the exclusive event that makes the software quit, the main event that I cannot get past is when I try to replace an image. Usually just the sight of the 600pix wide gif is enough to make it quit. But even when it lets me view it I cannot even place the cursor before Sigil quits and wants to send a report to Apple. This was not an issue in the very same document while running basic Leopard as my OS.

Is there a known issue with Snow Leopard and Sigil that could be causing this? Is there anything I can do or a strategy you can recommend?

Any leads on this issue will be greatly appreciated.
