Eh? The text in question is Herman Hesse: Siddartha (Original german ed. 1922). But Hesse died in 1962, so the original is not PD anywhere but US, Canada and maybe Australia - and as such normally wouldn't be allowable on MobileRead, whatever license the american translator may find fit to put on it.
