I agree that eInk has qualities--basically not lit up--that make it the optimum for a reading device. I am thinking that colored eInk and larger screens not made of glass--and thus eventually cheaper--will be coming, if the demand justifies it. It doesn't look like the demand will justify it happening any time soon though.
