The attachments have the number of "views" (downloads) next to them, as in:

The Mississippi Bubble.mobi (584.4 KB, 4 views)

This number is reset to 0 every time the attachment is updated/replaced, so uploaders usually add the previous download number in the post when updating the attachment, so that the total number can be computed.
