Actually, this is not hard at all. I started hacking it yesterday and now have Qt apps displaying on the screen today.

Once scratchbox is installed with a valid toolchain, the standard QtEmbedded 4.6.0 download compiles out of the box without any mods. With a few symlinks, QtGui apps run no problem. (*** No keyboard, manual display updates ***)

The Trolltech guys have done a terrific job with such a versatile toolkit. It is actually more work to recompile Qt for MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO than for the Kindle. (Not hard, just annoying makefile errors and that stupid strdup thing)

Thanks jyavenard for the 2.3 usbnetworking hack! After that this stuff is easy.
