I wanted to add a custom "synopsis" column so I created a Custom Column named "Synopsis" and give it a Column type of "Long text, like comments, not shown in the tag browser."

With this type of custom column it appears as a column which you can keep narrow (so as not to eat up all your window width), yet when you click on the entry a text box opens showing your comments.

But what is even Better... My "synopsis" entry shows up (in whole) in the "Book Details" pane of the main window. So now my "book details" pane shows a picture of the book, it's formats, tags, path, and my synopsis.
