change window title in C (pure x)

I'm trying to make a program run native. It's written in C - just C. Are there any pointers to where I should look to modify/add a window title? change arv[0]? or XGetWindowProperty from xlib?

Hints would be nice - I want to do the work, I'm just looking for directions!

EDIT: nevermind. I was able to compile pente (xio?) just by changing the titles in the right places. Thanks anyway!
