Adding Books Which Might Contain Duplicates

Hope this hasn't been asked too many times before. I couldn't find an answer by searching:

When I add a set of books to a library (Calibre version 1.7.0) where the set might have some duplicates, I normally have the "automerge" set to "Ignore duplicate incoming formats". Even so, Calibre kindly gives me a listing of such "merged" books which were "processed and merged into your Calibre database according to your automerge settings".

This is fine, but it only gives me the title of each book -- not the author. Since my raw book files in explorer are normally stored as <author> - <series> - <title>, it is tedious to spot check (for especially important books) any duplicates to make sure the better format was imported.

Would it be possible for Calibre to include in its listing the author of each duplicate book? Preferably sorted as author-title. This would make it much easier to scan the originals to make sure the one imported is the one I want to keep in the library.

Thanks,
