I've had my Kindle going on a year now and I've just started to notice that the charge is not holding as long, but still it's not bad. It just seems I fully charged the battery and did not use my Kindle at all for 2 to 3 days and when I turned it back on again it was at 50%. Whispernet was not on. I only use that to download books.
