The process looks pretty simple, they have a USB tool that you put on the calculator and it allows the ROM to be transfered via USB to your PC. Links available upon request.
You would be "holding" the license for my development ROM by storing away the broken TI83. Of course if you would rather buy a used working one or a brand new one, its your money. I figured buying a broken one made the most sense.
It would also be wonderful if I could count on you for a step by step guide and support for users needing to suck their ROMs.
