E Phillips Oppenheim (1866-1946) was a vastly prolific British author in a number of genres, but is best remembered as a writer of crime and adventure yarns, often set on the Riviera. Many of his novels were uploaded here back in 2012, and then, when the Library changed to Life +70, tucked away until 2017, when they entered the Life+70 PD and were re-instated.
This novel, a crime novel set in London, is an addition to the existing Oppenheim collection. (The Lion and the Lamb is a fictional London pub).
