I rooted my T1 following the wiki guide link in this thread. I installed the Kindle app so that I could sync my place in a book between my ipad and my T1. It was easy to do and so far is working perfectly. I read on the iPad and sync when I have finished, then activate wifi on the T1, sync in the kindle app and I'm at the last page I read on the iPad. Perfect!
