One way:
  1. ssh into your reMarkable as root (ssh root@10.11.99.1, give your password as found under the about choice in the reMarkable system settings menu)
  2. in the root user home directory: mkdir plato
  3. Download the distribution zip archive from the link
  4. Unzip the downloaded archive on your local machine
  5. Using Cyberduck or winscp or some other scp tool, copy all folders from the expanded archive into the plato directory on your reMarakble ssh account
  6. Using ssh, go into the plato directory on your reMarkable ssh account "cd ~/plato" and then type the text "LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./libs ./plato" and the app will launch on your reMarkable.
