Have you moved recently? It seems that Amazon sometimes wrongly associates accounts that share an address, so if you move to a place when the previous occupant got banned, you could be in trouble.
I've had an Amazon.co.uk account since September 2000 (or earlier - that's my first purchase) and an Amazon.com account since September 1999 (or earlier).
I'd be extremely upset if my accounts got closed, so stories like the one in this thread worry me.
