Zusammen mit Taskamore und Chester Bry fährt Olaf Karl Abelsen auf der Jacht Medusa in Richtung Südamerika. Aufgefangene Funksprüche lassen den Verdacht aufkommen, dass die Medusa verfolgt wird. Kurze Zeit später taucht auch ein Kanonenboot auf, dass selbst im dichten Neben nicht von ihrer Spur weicht.
