After extensive use, here some suggestions on minor improvements and comments on the app that I use by far the most on my device:

1) it would be nice if the contrast option, once set, would stick for the next documents that are opened;
2) due to the fact that the lcd side is the control side, it would be better if the landscape mode would be rotated by 180 degrees so that the e-ink side can be read when in vertical position, this would for instance also allow to put the EE comfortably on a table while reading;
3) sometimes the e-ink side is not completely used when rotating the screen, when closing and opening the document again all is fine;
4) as in the analogous FBreader port for the edge by javese,

a minor improvement would be if the extra control buttons on the e-ink side (non standard buttons) could be used instead of mapping for instance the volume buttons to turn pages
