help needed from the Scandinavians
About as off topic as one can get, but could some of the Danish/Swedish/Norwegian speakers help me with a pronunciation problem.
Long story short - I joined a living history group of vikings from the year 1000, and had to choose a name. I took GLADR - as it seems to be a translation of Joy, my real name. Problem is, nobody knows how it is said!
I've had Glohdr, Glohdyer, Gladr, Gladyer, Glaydr, Glaydyer, Glahdr and Glahdyer, and other subtle variations.
does it ring any bells with anyone?
