The Wildside Press freebie for this Tuesday is:

Search the Sky by the late SFWA Grandmaster Frederik Pohl (ISFDB, Wikipedia) & the also-late C. M. Kornbluth (ISFDB, Wikipedia), a vintage science fiction novel originally out from Ballantine Books in 1954. Incidentally, Pohl also had an excellent blog about early science fiction fandom & industry history which is being maintained by his family, and quite a number of his novels (and his very entertaining autobiography) are available DRM-free via Baen Books at affordable prices.

Search the Sky is a satirical science fiction novel written by Frederik Pohl and Cyril M. Kornbluth and first published in 1954.

What is the fate of the colonists who went out from Earth to settle the far planets beyond our universe? Spaceships have been unable to evoke responses from these planets, and in a novel as well-written as it is ingenious, one man starts out from Halsey's Planet to find the answer. If there is one.

Also, a reminder that the Humble Comics Bundle Image Creators Own Worlds featuring a good many award-nominated creator-owned comics and graphic novels expires tomorrow at 11 AM Wednesday.
