You can use Calibre to manage your collection and load books to the Sony. You can make changes to the book and author name in Calibre and also add tags or series information that will break out your books into Collections on the Sony.
I started using Calibre very shortly after getting my Sony. It's very flexible and you can also use it to convert other formats to lrf or epub to read on the Sony. I have not had much success converting PDF though.
