Some rare items: not long before he died, Arthur Somers Roche began a new series in
Cosmopolitan magazine featuring a lady detective in New York, Sheila Gray, but it was cut short with just three stories. There are some Guy Gilpatric stories which do not involve Glencannon; a tough tale from Jack Boyle, creator of the Boston Blackie, but not a Boston Blackie story; a tale of the West Indies by Henry S Whitehead; plus humour and romance. My thanks to Matthias Kaether for pointing out the newly available
Cosmopolitan collection on Internet Archive.
