In short, the kindle fire is suffering from most things that chopped down android devices suffer from, and then some. I was considering having a look at this, but after reading this review in full - I'll stick to my apple, and look around for a decent e-ink device as a follow up.

If that review was enough to persuade you from getting a Kindle Fire then you are probably better off not getting one.

I have an iPad 2, Kindle Fire, and Kobo Touch. Each are terrific devices and serves a particular purpose.
