Bookeen is being more responsive to its customers by offering parallel sets of firmware (same revision) one with MOBI and the other with ePub. Bookeen's heart is in the right place, but I wonder if they can pull it off. Jinke has issued many more firmware upgrades than Bookeen, and with real improvements between versions.

Bookeen may be more responsive with two sets of firmware, but if buy an Opus now, you'll have just epub and then by the time the Mobipocket firmware comes out, you'll already have ePub eBooks either converted or with DRM and you won't want Mobipocket.
