If you connect your cruz to the PC via the USB cable, your PC should see it as a separate drive (or drives if you have an SD card installed). Open these drives (they will look like folders) using Windows Explorer. Windows should do this automatically or at least ask you if you want to open the folder. Create your library folder on your device or on the SD card, if you have one, whichever you prefer. Open the folder where your books are stored on your PC. Copy your book(s) from your PC to the library folder on your cruz. You should be able to create folders within folders, for different genres and authors, for example. You should be able to name these folders anything you want that will help you remember what they are and what they should contain.

You said you sent a book to your device, but it's in a downloads folder. Can you move it to the folder of your choosing? If you use Calibre to send books, you can select where you want to send them by clicking on the little arrow by Save to Disk, selecting Save to Disk in a Single Directory, and then using the menu on the left, find the library folder you want the book to go to. You will have to create a folder called "Library" if one doesn't exist on your device.
