I had a chance to toy with one and did the same.
I wonder if it's even possible to jump pages on the mini, or do you have to manually go through every single one? It most likely has a hold-button feature that increasing page turning speed the longer you hold it.
For ex:
press button= turns 1 page at a time
hold 5 seconds = turns 2 page at a time
hold 10 seconds = turns 5 pages at a time
and so on and so on
