Ouch! I have everything connected to me by chains. I lost/had stolen my wallet once in Bangkok 30 years ago, and from that day, put a thin chain on my wallet to my belt. Not one of those big biker chain wallet things... just enough to make a pickpocket try a different target. When I started carrying a mobile phone, I did roughly the same, but with a coiled wire clipped to my shirt pocket. This also keeps the phone from dropping into the toilet, which as I understand, isn't so good for phones.

Almost most 10pm and time for a small glass of rum!
