Binns, Ottwell: The Stolen Debutante (1933), V1, 13 September 2019

51,000 Words.

Published as a serial in 1933, but possibly not as a book. The cover is my own creation.

A lively 1933 action story set in London, Paris, and the Home Counties. The Hon Peter Pentreath, on a dark night when walking home along a lonely country road after his taxi cab broke down, witnesses a brutal murder and what appears to be an abduction of a young woman.

The woman reminds him vaguely of another young woman he met briefly in the United States; naturally he sets out to hunt down the abductors.
