Dilnot, George: Scotland Yard, LIT v1, 15 March 2010.

George Dilnot [1883-?]
Scotland Yard: The Methods and Organisation of the Metropolitan Police [1915]

The author is a police officer who describes the workings of Scotland Yard and the Metropolitan Police in the early 20th century.
He canít resist including a couple of anecdotes illustrating occasions when his colleague, Frank Froest, gets things wrong. (We have a couple of Mr Froestís detective novels in the MR library.)

I donít have a death date for the author, so Iím putting this on the US server.
