IF I put the book directly on the reader, then I can read it.
But the purpose of having the SD Card was to be able to download free books so I could send the SD card to my 87 yr old Mother who does NOT use computers and does not want to learn. She loves the reader but now I want to send her new books.
If the SD Card does not work in mine, I do not think it will work in hers. I purchased 2 readers just for this purpose. I did not want to be sending readers back and forth through the mail.
I live near Nashville, TN if anyone wants to look at it.
Otherwise the reader works great.
