I'll begin with something a little different from my usual types of nominations but it was the first thing I thought of for the topic-
The Hobbit or There and Back Again by J.R.R. Tolkien. I realise it's very famous and perhaps you've all already read it, but I've never read any Tolkien and think it could lead to a vibrant discussion.
