I can't believe I am responding to this trolling post, but here I go:

On a device that I purchased and OWN????? okay ..... whatever. I guess removing Windows 7 on a Laptop I bought and putting Windows XP on (using licenses that I OWN) could be construed as illegal???

The warranty issue is debatable, but the illegal issue is flat out nonsense.
