Dear fellows,

after beating around the bush for a while, I decided to order a Kindle 3 which is due very soon now. I am joining this site to look for info on ereaders, ebooks, and the underlying technology. Though by no means an expert, I've been using Linux on a daily basis since 1995, and I thus have an interest in the use of Linux in embedded devices.

I am also an avid reader, spending too much time travelling on mission, and the idea of a light, easy to use device with a large storage capacity is very appealing.
