On the subject of the Aura's processor: It turns out to be exactly the same as the Glo's. Here's the note I received from someone who travels Europe representing Kobo (they just got back):

The Kobo Aura HD and the Kobo Glo have the same 1Ghz processor: Freescale I.MX507. This means that both the Kobo Aura HD and Kobo Glo have a 25% faster processor than competitive products.
