Expecting errors? What? Is Baen publishing it?
Given the nature of digital publishing there's really no reason for typos to be in a book on the release date. At most a couple of days past release errors should be fixed from reader feedback and purchasers notified that a corrected version is available to download.
Publishers still are not taking full advantage of digital publishing. For example in "Sentry Peak" by Baen
every instance of the name of the mountain, including in the book's title, metadata and info on the website was spelled "Sentry Peek". The only one who got it right was the cover artist.
Baen had not a clue it was wrong until I sent them an e-mail. How does such a gaffe make it past every level of checking?
