Apps will be in your Download folder, which you can find using ES File Explorer. They will show up in the collection of all your apps which you see when you either tap or drag (depending on whether you have upgraded or not) the enTourage symbol above Journal, Library, etc. on the LCD home screen.
Does that answer your question? Or do you mean after you download and before you install? If that's the case you probably need to pull down the notification window at the top of the LCD screen.
