It sounds like you manually changed the link to a document or somesuch. A link is pointing to a document that isn't there and a document is there with nothing pointing to it. So, make sure you have the path and spelling (including caps) correct.
eg. <link href="../Styles/styles.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet"/>
