There's good news and bad.

The good news is that everyone in the UK can have a free wheelchair.

The bad news is that some bloke called Crusher has to break your legs with a lump hammer

This law is a stripping of human rights (the European parliament agree with me on this one) brought about by a slimy, underhanded, technophobe whose only motivation is greed. There is no 'upside' to this law. There is no 'justification'. Accusation is not the same as guilt, although these bastards would have us believe that it is so.

Oh, and ripping your own collection was never criminal, there is no law on the books in the UK that makes fair-use backup a crime, not even a civil matter. That's absolute FUD and you know it.
