The first thing you need to know is your PW's firmware version...settings-> device info.
The next step is the Jailbreak at the thread you listed...just read everything carefully and follow the directions. Everything else flows from there. Install the applications you want and have fun. After Jailbreaking, either leave your PW in airplane mode or install the BackDoorLock hack via KUAL so that a firmware update does not get pushed to your device and 'break' any of your hacks.
