The Fighting Cowboy by the late British author Gordon Landsborough (Wikipedia, Fantastic Fiction), a prolific and pioneering multi-genre pulp fiction writer and publisher, is his standalone western historical action adventure novel, this one with some f/m romantic suspense elements in a sibling-oriented tale starring a prizefighting cowboy whose career is derailed by the disappearance of his Pinkerton Detective brother, who was on the trail of a train robbery gang which the cowboy begins planning to take down post-haste, if it weren't for the obstacle of the dangerously beautiful sister of the brothers who run the gang, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press' Pioneering imprint.

This was originally published in 2010 by Robert Hale as part of their Black Horse Western line.

Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK and pretty much every where else that Amazon sells worldwide, since this is being done via their KDP Select exclusive or else imprint)

Huge bets are placed on his success and people travel far and wide to watch him in action.

But his career is suddenly interrupted when he learns of the disappearance of his brother, a Pinkerton Detective who has mysteriously vanished whilst en-route to a fight.

However, it’s not long before Blondel realizes that his brother has been murdered by a gang of vicious train robbers, and his body tossed into the nearby canyon.

Blondel vows vengeance, and locates the prime suspects of the attack – the infamous Morton family who will stop at nothing to get what they want.
